WABW Tea Party
Join “We Are Black Women” for an intimate Tea Party in Philadelphia from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, and March 6, 2010.
We’re giving 23 lucky people a chance to mix and mingle with other women and enjoy fabulous teas from Tea Country, a black-owned tea company in Philadelphia that specializes in Gourmet loose-leaf teas.
Since we have so few seats at our tea party, we’ll have to decide who gets to come. To help us make the choice, we’re asking you to fill out the form below. You’ll have to roam around the WABW website to get acquainted enough to answer the questions. We have space for 11 people at the Feb. 27 tea party and 12 at the March 6 tea party.
We Are Black Women is a blog network for black women over 40, and we have been around for about six months. We are using the tea parties as focus groups to get your feedback about how well we’re doing and how we can do better.
Those folks with the most thoughtful and in-depth answers will get to spend a Saturday afternoon drinking teas, eating cute little tea sandwiches and telling us what you think.
Please fill out the form below and get ready to have some fun. We’ll need your response by Friday, Feb. 5. We’ll let you know the following week who’ll be joining us. Another of our projects is a WABW Tech Camp that we’re planning for beginners in the spring. Now, we’re trying to gauge interest in the idea. If you’re intrigued, please take our survey.
